The machine is designed for precision drilling and boring of cold-drawn and hot-rolled steel pipes, as well as non-magnetic materials. It can also perform drilling and trepanning on round steel bars. The use of specialized tools improves the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the inner holes of steel pipes. Materials that can be processed include ordinary carbon steels, high-quality carbon steels, and low alloy steels such as 20, 45, 16Mn, 25Mn, 27SiMn.
01. Workpiece Rotation (Drill Head Brake)
The headstock drives the workpiece to rotate, while the boring bar drives the combination head, drill bit, and hydraulic fine boring/rolling tools to feed. Used for precision machining on hot-rolled steel pipes.
02. Tool Rotation (Headstock Brake)
The headstock is braked to keep the workpiece stationary. The boring bar head drives the boring bar to rotate. This corrects drilling deviations and is suitable for drill collars and petroleum components.
03. Dual Rotation
The headstock drives the workpiece to rotate while the boring bar rotates and feeds simultaneously, improving straightness and efficiency.
